14 Years in the Making: Badburn’s Explosive Hardcore Single “Law of the Scale”

Badburn returns with “Law of the Scale”—a heavy, no-nonsense cut recorded at Tower of Doom. Now added to Rakista’s Pinoy Headbangers! playlist—follow for more heavy drops. 🤘

Mga Rakista, matagal natin ’tong hinintay. Badburn is back with a brand-new single, “Law of the Scale”—isang reckoning track na tuwirang humihiwa sa dumi, tapos binabalikan ka ng consequence. Recorded August 2025 at Tower of Doom Studios (QC), engineered by Macoy Manuel, this is Badburn at their sharpest and heaviest so far. Recorded at: Tower of Doom Studios

The Cut

Badburn returns with a brand-new single, “Law of the Scale”—a crushing anthem of reckoning where truth cuts through deception and balance comes for all who test its edge. It’s a song of judgment and consequence, a fierce reminder that every action echoes back with equal weight.

While the new material nods to the raw aggression of Bound by Blood and the refined intensity of Crack the Weakened Surface, “Law of the Scale” feels like something reborn—an evolved incarnation of the band’s legacy. This isn’t just a continuation; it’s a reassertion.

“We don’t claim to have mapped the contours of today’s hardcore,” the band shares, “but these new songs feel like they’ve earned their place in it. It’s not about keeping up. It’s about showing up with something honest that still hits hard. They carry the weight of where we’ve been and somehow still speak the language of where it’s all going.”

The Return

Ito ang first new song in 14 years—sabay labas ng official lyric video at streaming sa major platforms. Kasabay din, may full live set from New Music Night (Unknown13 Pub, QC, Oct 17, 2025) na nagpapatunay: tatlong dekada na, pero as fierce as ever.

Who’s in the pit

Current lineup: Marben Romero (vox), Bike Buick Viñas (guitars), Gil Christ Tan (guitars), Joey Valverde (drums), Joy Legason (bass).
