The song, which was off the band’s 2003 record Bigotilyo is PNE’s first song to ever hit the said Spotify milestone. Time and time again, the band has been very thankful for all the love this simple love song of theirs has been getting over the years.
What’s also surprising is the fact that “Your Song” was never released as an official single by the band during their Bigotilyo era. The song, clocking in at less than three minutes and was written and sung by guitarist Gab Chee Kee organically rose to popularity during the mid-2000s. Since the song gained massive mainstream popularity, Parokya Ni Edgar decided to include “Your Song” on their Inuman Sessions Vol. 2 setlist back in 2012. (WATCH HERE)

Following the release of their introduction song “Just A Hit” and debut single "Panahon", HEY JUNE!, one of the youngest and promising bands, drops their latest single "Lugar Kung S'an". The song speaks mainly about our special place because of the memories created there. As insignificant a place may seem to one, it can mean the whole world to another.
"Lugar Kung S'an", written by Earl Paglinawan, captures the nostalgia that one feels with a place where you find peace, love or importance - where you find that unique connection to yourself or to the people you treasure most.
This four-piece band composed of vocalists Jim Mase, (Guitars, Synth) and Earl Paglinawan, (Guitars) with Coey Ballesteros (Bass and Back up vocals) and Aci Fodra (Drums) is one of the newest Filipino bands formed in 2021. These 4 young kids live for their passion for music and their own creative pursuits. less

Ben&Ben chronicles the inevitable disintegration of a romantic relationship on “Langyang Pag-ibig,” their latest single under Sony Music Philippines.
Witnessing how a burning love ultimately ends up in a disaster, the nine-piece Filipino collective writes a song that wades through a bad breakup with the stinging anger of someone struggling to put their life back on track.
Arranged with classic rock bigness and percussive elements, the song packs a devastating punch with a chorus that articulates one’s feelings of being betrayed.
“It's the song where we flexed our musicality the most,” says the acclaimed band. “It's three songs in one song, but it still sounds like one song.”
“Langyang Pag-ibig” is recorded at Spryta Studios, the same place where Ben&Ben recorded the entirety of their multi-platinum debut album, Limasawa Street. It was produced by Ben&Ben and Jean Paul Verona, mixed by Sam Marquez... less

Such growth drives their new single “Mine,” a bilingual song that drops on major streaming services. Released under [which imprint?], the song was composed by Anne Margarette Detera and Niko Joei Bertrand Bacani, produced by the band and Tiny Corpuz, and recorded at Line In Records.
CHNDTR says that “Mine” is their first recorded love song, contributing to an important musical tradition in original Filipino music. What they want to contribute is a throwback to music that emerged in their childhoods. “Most of the [composers of] 90s OPM love songs are fond of playing with English and Tagalog in their music,” they tell us. This practice dates back even earlier, though, with a few 70s songs from the Manila Sound movement incorporating English slang into mostly Tagalog lyrics and a mid-1980s classic,... less

After racking up more than 10 million streams with his debut EP Lika Na, rising singer-songwriter/producer raven reimagines traditional ‘harana’ with a modern twist on his new single “Hara”—out today via Sony Music Philippines.
Bringing the distinct practice of Pinoy-style courtship to an entirely new audience, raven serenades the object of his affection with lyrics that showcase his sincere intentions.
“Unlike some of the songs that I’ve written so far, most of which are mere expressions of admiration, this particular track chronicles the experience of wooing someone in hopes of capturing their heart,” the young musician shares. “It’s an expression of sentimental nature, but it also comes from a place of humility on the suitor’s end.”
With its delicate fusion of lo-fi elements, hip-hop beats, and intricate guitar melodies, “Hara” conveys romantic earnestness from a better, brighter time. It blurs genre lines without the necessary complications: a gift of effortlessness that raven... less

Di Papakawalan is about the memories shared between a couple and staying together through thick and thin - never letting go despite all challenges experieced and whatever lies ahead. The song exudes slow dance energy with that 80s synths, drum machines, electric guitars and embellishments reminiscent of the good and the bad times spent with a person you deeply care about. About the Artist:Aside from making a name for herself as one of the breakout young actresses in her generation, Maris Racal has successfully dabbled in writing her own songs and challenging industry expectations with her intimate and refreshing take on pop music.
