Biography
TIHTUS
Tihtus (formerly: Titus) was formed in Ilocos Norte in 2013. Five members, part of the same church worship team, began joining various battles of the bands and other competitions in the province. They soon delved into composing and performing original songs, taking pride in the collaborative effort that goes into each piece.
BRAND STATEMENT
Tihtus is an alternative pop-rock band that puts their art and heart to words. Conveying messages of love, adoration, and pursual in a musical reflection. Be captivated as they bring you music that will surely captivate your hearts.
ACHIEVEMENTS
In February 2017, they travelled all the way to Makati City, Metro Manila, to join an open mic night hosted by the Filipino Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, Inc. (FILSCAP). They were soon accepted as members of the association, which paved the way for gigs in the Metro.
They were also part of the 2017 FILSCAP Songwriting Camp, where they created the song "Blinded" (to be released on either January 2019 or February 2019). As their out-of-province bookings increased, they got several radio guestings which includes Wish 107.5, where they performed another unreleased original, "Retrospect." This song was also their key to being part of the FILSCAP Songwriters' Night Select concert at the Music Museum last July 27, 2018.
For now, they have one released single titled "Isang Ikaw," which is available on Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon Music, and Google Play Music. This song was featured on the latest movie of Jm De Guzman and Rhian Ramos, entitled "Kung Pano Sya Nawala.
