Following the recent news on the Russian-Ukraine war, the Bulacan based indie-electronic trio was inspired to talk about all the stupid wars that have occurred in the past. "Gera Pera" narrates the powerful control money has, emphasizing how nations resort to war for it while consistently tormenting the lives of commoners and minorities.
The trio is known for combining electronic pop and hip-hop with spoken word and poetry. This time, they've used their platform to discuss issues affecting multiple nations and people.
Despite its virtuosic style yet revolutionary approach, the band was able to sustain its image—producing passionate energy through music; banging stages, and mosh pits. Let's look forward to Sumo Wrestling's first-ever single, "Gera Pera."
