If you find that you've been developing lyric ideas, you'll likely start by filling in as much of that lyric as you can, and then develop chords and melody to support that lyric. That's your process for lyrics-first songs.

Biography
Hook, Line & Sinker is a project band composed of young musicians from South of Metro Manila. Enhanced community quarantine conditions in May 2020 drove its members, who belong to different bands, to jam and record songs online, and pursue a common passion for unique yet relatable music. Its members are AJ Soliman (Out of Order), Edsel De Guzman (Drive of Daydreams), Nathan Abella (Pawikan) and David Montalban.
In June 2020, Hook, Line & Sinker’s first original single titled You Don’t Know was released on Facebook and got 16k views. Later, in August, the song made it to radio station Jam 88.3’s New Music Monday top ten list. The band also dropped another original song dubbed, Nothing to Do With You which was featured on a podcast called Toast or Roast, a show created by Former NU DJs Francis Brew and Kim. The third original song 6AM was released in February 2021. It is also their first song to have a music video and was released on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
Heavily influenced by the Beatles, Oasis and Drake Bell, the band strives to hone their craft, find their voice, sing of joys and heartaches, including stories of “falling hook, line and sinker.” They continue to create music and cover local bands like the Eraserheads to explore and free their minds. The band is now working on their debut album and hopes to contribute to the growth of OPM.
