The Philippines’ First-Ever International Music Conference and Festival is Happening On October

On October 4-5, 2019, Homonym and the National Commission for Culture and Arts will finally be launching Sonik Philippines, a two-day event which primarily includes a music conference and festival, at Green Sun, Makati.

The conference will feature speakers and guests from all around the music industry inside and outside the country to talk about the development of music business with regards to creativity and marketing and aims to increase opportunities and connections between the local music scene to other industries around the world. SONIK is also expecting the attendance of music executives all around the world—to highlight, the Taiwan Ministry of Culture added dozens of their executives and a few artists to the roster of performers.

On the other hand, the music festival will feature stunning performances from our homegrown acts to Taiwan’s finest outfits. Included in the lineup is local hiphop group Bawal Clan, fast-rising indie outfit Ben&Ben, pop artist Ena Mori, folk-pop singer songwriter Syd Hartha, world music group Talahib People’s Music, 88Balaz hailing all the way from Taiwan, together with electronic duo APRIL RED and punk rock trio Outlet Drift, and a whole lot more artists.
