Fil-British singer-songwriter ‘beabadoobee’ is coming to Manila!

Beatrice Kristi Laus, known professionally as ‘beabadoobee’ is bringing the BEATOPIA TOUR 2022 to Manila which is set to take place at New Frontier Theater on 16th of September this coming Friday that will undoubtedly bring smiles to all her Filipino fans' faces.

 

This is to kick off her Asian leg tour which includes 5 (five) cities;

 

Taipei, Manila, Seoul, Bangkok, and Singapore.

 

Moreover, as soon as the Fil-British indie rock star arrived in Manila, Philippines last Wednesday, 14th of September, she did not hesitate to keep all her fans updated through a few social media posts, sharing some of her unforgettable moments about her visit in the said city as she was exploring some of the good ol’ places around Manila including a photo that shows the place Greenhills Shopping Center, several photos of her roaming around the streets of Manila, and most especially, a set of photos of her enjoying her ride on a minibus-like public utility vehicle called ‘jeepney’ with a sweet and pure caption “I’m home.”

 

 

Just to give a teeny-weeny amount of trivia about the singer-songwriter’s journey to fame, it was revealed that ‘beabadoobee’ was able to learn how to play guitar with the help of YouTube video tutorials.

 

The first original song she wrote for the instrument was “Coffee”, which was sampled by Canadian singer-songwriter Powfu for his single “Death Bed”, giving beabadoobee her first chart entry.

 

The mega hit song has now amassed 1.3 billion streams on Spotify and 529 billion views on YouTube, both and counting.
