Myx Awards 2021 Rock Video Of The Year Goes To "Lakas" By COLN Feat. Dale Jairus

Last night, the MYX Awards returned to the virtual stage to honor the best in local and worldwide music. A lot of famous great music artists joined and waited for the result of the event while different fan clubs passionately voted for their favorite artists.

In the line of Rock music, the Myx Awards proudly announced "Lakas" by COLN ft. Dale Jairus as the Rock Video of the Year. COLN, the Rock band thanked their fans for their overflowing love and support. On top of this, they proudly acknowledged Mr. Vlademir Castaneto's effort in directing their song "Lakas" as well as the Predator gaming for making their dream music video come true.

COLN began as a group of friends who wanted to compose music together. Rap and rock were the genres of music that they felt was lacking in today's music. Rivermaya, Razorback, Kendrick Lamar, and Metallica are some of their influences. This five-piece band is composed of Awi Columna (Vocals), Yow Andrada (Bass), Gio Herrera (Lead Guitar), Nins Denso (Drummer), and one of the most loved OG's in the Youtube world, Cong Velasquez or a.k.a Cong TV (Vocals, Lead Guitar).

Myx Global on Twitter also posted the band's thank you video for winning the said title this 2021. A lot of notable performers were also awarded by different categories. Local and international acts such as Ebe Dancel, Inigo Pascual, Leanne & Naara, Maris Racal, Nameless Kids, Zild, LANY, Pink Sweats, and Lukas Graham also performed at the event.
