Ozzy Osbourne To Release Another Album With Legendary Collaborators

Subsequent to his 2020 Album ‘Ordinary Man’, marking the gap of almost 10 years since the release of his ‘Scream’ (2010), Ozzy Osbourne is currently up and running to set out his new solo album - featuring an applauded all-stars of rock scene, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, and his longtime collaborator Zack Wlyde, together with Andrew Watt as his returning producer of last year’s ‘Ordinary Man’.

In the midst of being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and battling the challenges the pandemic has casted on, Ozzy admitted at his interview with Metal Hammer that working for his upcoming album has kept him high-spirited.

“These past two years I’ve been in a terrible f***ing state between the accident and then the pandemic. It’s kept me sane - I’ve needed the music.”

When asked about his collaboration with the mentioned iconic artists, he replied, “You just write the song and you just ask them to sing [or play] what you [give them]. The good thing is it's interesting to work with somebody else. But the bad thing is if it don’t work, you can’t [just let it go] ‘cause they’ll get all pissed off.”

Although Clapton had a bit of an issue about a particular lyric word while in the process, everything went accordingly to its place and produced an incredible outcome. Ozzy previously stated in an interview that  they have already mounted 13 or 14 ‘really strong songs’ that will march the route. One of tracks which he has just teased was called, “Patient Number Nine” - a song that expresses his relationship with her wife, Sharon.

The man of metal, Ozzy Osbourne, has been sweeping his rock journey for decades of being one with heavy metal. At 72, the ‘prince of darkness’ has more than what his heart has set on - being the global brand will forever be what he has known for.
