Written by John Francis Sevilla

Last Sunday, American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers announced guitarist Josh Klinghoffer departs the band while guitarist John Frusciante has a comeback after he left the band for a decade.

On the Instagram post of the bassists of the band, Flea said that Josh Klinghoffer is a good musician who they respect and love.

“We are deeply grateful for our time with him, and the countless gifts he shared with us.” the band said.

Also, the band announced that the former guitarist John Frusciante joined them once again.

“We also announce, with great excitement and full of hearts, that John Frusciante is rejoining the group.” the band post on Instagram.

Klinghoffer was the guitarist of the band for the past 10 years. He recorded two studio albums for Red Hot Chili peppers. Klinghoffer took the place of his friend and frequent collaborator Frusciante after he left the band in 2009. For Frusciante, this is his third stint in the band. He is the lead guitarist of Red Hot Chili Peppers from 1988 until 1992, from 1998 to 2009 and recorded five studio albums with the band.
