FUJI ROCK 2026 is almost here, and Rakista will also be there through Ridz Pit and Atty. Carlo Ybañez, who will share their festival experience from Naeba.
The wait is over! The exciting FUJI ROCK 2026 is literally just around the corner, and the final
updates are here before everyone starts running to Naeba Ski Resort. The festival happens on July 24, 25, and 26, 2026, and for a RAKISTA who loves to hike, this is the bucket list for your Japan trip,
Ridz Pit and Atty. Carlo Ybañez will accompany us to FUJI ROCK Festival to share their experience. So, for the team bahay who’s watching from the Philippines, this is something to look forward to. They will assure you that every RAKISTA will experience the festival.
First, FUJI ROCK has announced its closing act. Masahiro Hidaka’s special project, 1950s Western Caravan Orchestra, will return to close the festival again after their 2025 performance. The band will be led by Kazuhiko Toyama, with guest artists joining the stage, so expect an encore set.
There is also a change at RED MARQUEE. SORRY, who were supposed to perform on July 24, have cancelled due to personal circumstances. They shared that they were sad to miss the festival and promised to come back next time. Taking their slot is a flood of circle, a four-piece Japanese rock band with blues and garage rock roots. So yes, RED MARQUEE is still going to hit that HARD.
For the team bahay, FUJI ROCK will also have livestream and broadcast options. Some performances from the GREEN STAGE, WHITE STAGE, RED MARQUEE, and FIELD OF HEAVEN will stream for free worldwide through the Amazon Music App, Prime Video, and Twitch.
Not every artist will be streamed, but still, this is very good news for fans watching from home.
Fuji TV NEXT will also air the festival in September, with performances from the four main stages. That is 15 hours of festival content, which sounds like the perfect post-festival binge if you are still not over the craze in Naeba.
There are also practical festival reminders. Some tickets may still be available until the day before each performance date, but sold-out tickets will not be available for same-day sale. FUJI ROCK is also encouraging cashless payment inside the venue, though cash is still accepted. Basically, prepare before going so you can focus on the music and not panic in line.
For the Taiwanese fans, FUJI ROCK’s ROOKIE A GO-GO is also connecting with TV Tairiku Ondo, which will appear at TMEX JAM JAM ASIA 2026 in Taipei, while yubiori and Hashirikomizu will perform at ROCK IN TAICHUNG. Taiwan’s A_Root Doukonsei will also perform at ROOKIE A GO-GO during FUJI ROCK 2026.
From Naeba to Taiwan, the scene is moving. And for us watching from the pit, even from far away, it feels exciting seeing Asian music connect worldwide. Maybe this is also something festivals in the Philippines can take notes from. FUJI ROCK gives space not only to big names, but also to newer and independent bands through stages like ROOKIE A GO-GO.
