.NET PROGRAMMER
Responsibilities:
• High level understanding of technologies, procedures, and concepts within specialized area with the ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed technical designs.
• Development of new products and support of applications already in production.
• Adherences to pre-defined programming standards set by Application Architects and develop recommendations regarding further definition of development standards and application architecture principles.
• Creates documentation using established PMO standards.
• Performs unit testing and assists in user testing of programming modifications.
• When assigned, is prepared to address system problems during off hours with the guidance from other members of the development staff as needed.
• Provide technical estimates.
• Leads and facilitates design sessions and code walk-through and mentor Tech Support on technical and functional aspects of the applications.
• Develops and maintains effective partnerships with CSS Holdings product development and business teams in order to understand and anticipate their needs, the business environment, other challenges and opportunities.
• Maintain technical knowledge through training or other measures.
• Learn and adapt to the best practices and standards that the company implements
• Support existing applications and develop new projects, applying the concepts learned from the training provided by the company
• Should show a sense of responsibility by being able to “own” assigned projects
• Contribute an atmosphere of peer motivation to the team
• Reports to the Lead Developer on accomplishments and roadblocks encountered
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in programming any of the ff: VB (6.0 or .NET, C (++ or #), ASP.NET, .NET Framework 2.0 or higher, SQL Server
• Knowledge in OOAD, OOP and ORM tools is a definite advantage
• Knowledge in IIS 6.0 or higher is a definite advantage
• Knowledge in software methodologies specifically SCRUM
• Knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and other web development tools are an advantage.
• Understanding of business processes, identifying issues, and providing directions.

PHP PROGRAMMER
(National Capital Reg)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor/College Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming or Equivalent.
• Knowledge and understanding of current authoring languages, editing and authoring tools, and related website technologies.
• Good English communication skills, both written and oral.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Knowledgeable in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, 3d Max or Maya & Adobe Flash are required

• Expertise in adobe flash and other multimedia development applications
• Adept with varios web technologies and applications
• Skilled in various design technologies and applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator
• Good design skills is a plus
• Experience in gaming development and developing education-related multimedia applications
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• He or she will have weekly or bi-weekly deliverables and will provide weekly updates on the progress of his or her work.
• He or she will report directly to the Educational Technology Development Head and work closely with the team’s courseware developer, multimedia designer and content researcher.
• He or she will also closely coordinate with Knowledge Channel’s educational TV production / development team.
• Create interactive web and flash design, including graphic and flash design, site navigation, and layout of content
• Ensure layouts are accessible, logical, easy to navigate, and conform to usability guidelines
• Work with Project Managers to review work schedule, deadlines and job requirements
• Prepare enhancements and revisions to creative outputs such as flash and interactive websites


WEB DESIGNER


REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Fine Arts, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in 3D Studio Max, Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Photoshop.
• Windows and web server management a plus
• Web/Internet marketing background or experience is an advantage.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in current graphic design practices and web production software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash and Adobe Premiere
• Strong design style, including creative design solutions within the constraints of the Internet.
• Strong conceptual skills, including online software concepts and online experience concepts
• Strong technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML, Flash, CSS, and AJAX.
• Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, layout, colour theory and typography in both print and digital media.
• Has demonstrated successful design and integration, and the delivery of projects on time and within the given budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Graphic/Web Designer will generate and manipulate graphic images and text for media such as ads, brochures, newsletters, email campaigns, etc. for US and Canada marketing campaigns as well as generate and manipulate graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs.
• Work closely with marketing team to translate network brand identity into online creativity.
• Ability to translate design into HTML and Flash web pages
• Collaborate with project teams to develop the site concept, interface design and architecture of the website.
