for me it is not dead... as long as there are bands which cover's it or atleast play its music its still alive

NU METAL never dies gang ngayon, buhay at sikat pa rin ang greyhoundz sa musika din ng DOGFIGHT, finalist ng muziklaban nung 2007 ay buhay pa rin ang musikang ito nag-rerelease pa rin ang KORN ng mga albums kaya i think, it never dies, patuloy siyang nag-eevolve sa pamamagitan ng mga bandang baguhan na humuhugot ng impluwensiya sa mga nu metal pioneers

NO Korn,Disturbed, Limp Bizkit still creates album Rage against the machine is back Greyhoundz, Queso, Dicta License and Slapshock still kick ass! etc etc

slipknot is still doing great music pls check their album "ALL HOPE IS GONE"

Siguro pinaka appropriate na sabihin is nag "progress" lang yung genre itself, tsaka syempre yung mga bandang involved. Hindi na pure yung genre (sabagay,hindi rin naman pure ang genre na NuMet,combi sya ng hiphop/rap & rock/metal basically e), nahaluan na sya ngayon ng "mas concentrated na Metal" or yung ibang NuMet date nahaluan nadin ngayong ng reggae, funk,etc, therefore spewing a "progressed-type of NuMetal". Pero para sakin,'yung NuMet na nagustuhan ko date ,na pumatok date, na bumenta date, generally wala na..

Nu metal isn't dead. it just became less popular.. but soon, it will rise again! hehe.. sana! \m/

ndi mamatay ang rap metal kc habang may mga bandang natugtug ndi tlaga mawawala....tzka ndi pa naman ata sira ang music industry na pilipinas para mawala ang rap metal....

nu\rpa metal is still alive paru onti na lang sila sa mainstream the rest nasa underground and kaya siguro nasabi ng iba na namamatay na ang nu metal kasi yung ibang banda na dating nu metal nag shishift into other forms of music at siyempre dahan dahang nawawala yung popularity

the scene has gone dead, but the music will still live on. deftones is still kicking with a new song from an upcoming album
