kinig ka pa ng ibang HC bands

Nagdi Dl ako mga old shool na HC bands, 'di talaga ko kase masyado knowledgeable sa old school e,sabagay sa new school din naman,haha! Medyo mas namulat kase ko sa new school e,pero mas maganda lumingon diba sa pinanggalingan, ayun nagi DL ako ngayon albums ng Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Kraut, Judge, etc stuff like that para makita ko din roots nila. It pays to be honest, may nakita kase ko sa V2 version, 'di lang ako sure kung same thread e, may nagpost mga pinapakinggan n'ya daw HC bands mga tipong GBH, Verbal Abuse, Minor Threat, etc which is alam kong kasinungalingan, haha! May iba kaseng tao na magpopost nang hinde totoo, para lang masabe na Jack of all Trades sila pagdating sa different genres ng Rock in particular, haha! Mas maganda diba maging honest ka sa sarili mo, and admit kung wala kang alam sa ganitong bagay o eksena, etc. Alam ni Jade aka Boy_Underpass/WeedMan kung sino tinutukoy ko, haha! Alam ko Bong2 alam mo din kung sino 'yun tinutukoy ko,haha! Sige tama na muna to, balik soundtrip muna. Jazz muna pakinggan ko..

**new to hardcore... anyone? please educate me. XD

Hmmmm..Im not in the position to do this 'cause Im not good at educating either 'bout music, HC in particular. But for starters (like me), I recommend you to use by any means you know any ways to acquire music of Black Flag, Suicidal Tendencies, Dr.Know, Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Cro-Mags, Warzone,etc (considered as old school HC)
And then switch listening to some bands labelled as new school HC like: Vision of Disorder, Crown of Thornz, etc (watch the documentary New York Hardcore or NYHC, almost everything is in there, including the bands), Biohazard, Earth Crisis, Freya, Hatebreed, Hoods, Merauder, Sick of it All, Smash Your Enemies, Strife, Subzero, Terror, Throwdown, and as well as local acts like Tame the Tikbalang, Piledriver, Loads of Motherhood, Skrewheads, BadBurn,etc..
Research,research, research..(actually, you kids are fortunate, and be thankful to the wonderful world of Cyberspace. During my time the set-up is really,really different).

But the most important thing is: Hardcore is more on the attitude, your well-being. It's about having a positive outlook in life, using your failures as a weapon to uplift your being, it's about love, respect, unity & affection with your family, friends, and the entire HC community etc, and struggling to live a harsh life using your positive mental attitude to conquer these negative barriers.

ay ganun? yesyes dope nga earth crisis. pero kasi yung firestorm lang ang nagustuhan ko sa kanila. kaya ayun. haha! di pa naman ako ganun kafamiliar sa hc. naghahanap ako ng banda dito sa previous posts, nakita ko may earth crisis at madball. so i listened to them.

Almost all Earth Crisis' albums were wicked! Exception for me is their Slither album, for me it's not that impressive, but still kicked some ass! Check their stuff Nielle, as well as sick-ass bands Terror, First Blood, etc
