Ang bandang Disconnected (DC) ay mula sa Bandung, Indonesia. Ang DC ay nabuo noong 1998, nang ang mga orihinal na mga miyembro na sina Arie (voc / guitar), Yuda (Bass) at Decil (Drums) ay nagdesisyon na magbuo ng banda upang masundan ang kanilang mga pangarap na gumawa ng sariling musika. Sila ay nagsimulang tumugtog sa ilang gigs sa kanila junior hight school. Ang nagsimula bilang isang pangarap ay humantong sa pagbuo ng kasalukuyang line-up ng "Disconnected" o "DC" for short. Ang pangalan ng kanilang banda ay talagang kinuha mula ang pamagat ng isang kanta sa pamamagitan ng American punk band na Face to Face. Ang musika ng Disconnected ay humuhugot ng inspirasyon mula sa kanilang mga idolo sa larangan ng rock tulad ng Gigantor, Kill Ray, Face to Face at Blink 182. Noong year 2000, dinagdagan ng DC ang kanilang line-up upang isama sina PJ (guitar / voc) at Dea (Synth), noong 2000. Nopon na rin sila nagsimulang bago mag-eksperimento at sumulat ng mga orihinal na materyal. Ang experimentation ay humantong sa kanilang pagsama ng punk sa ilang mga elemento ng electronic music na nauwi sa paggawa ng sarili nilang tunog. Matapos tumugtog sa maraming rock venues sa Indonesia, nilabas ng DIsconnected ang kanilang unang album na pinamagatang,"Inside Out". Noong 2003, Sila rin ay nagkaroon ng mga singles na itinampok sa isang compilation na inilabas sa pamamagitan ng isang lokal at independent record label. Habang patuloy na gumawa ang banda ng mga composition at bumubuo ng bagong materyales, patuloy sila sa paghubog ng nila sa sarili nilang tunog. Noong Mayo 2006, inilabas ang kanilang unang EP sa tulong ng HEaven Records. Noong 2007 naman inilabas ang Discopukhead, at ang unang single mula sa album na ito na pinamagatang Demos Cratos ay hinirang bilang number one single ng Rockintheshed.com chart. Noong 2008, umabot na Disconnected ng isang dekada ng pagbuo ng sarili nilang musika. Bilang paggunita sa kanilang ika-samupung anibersaryo sa rock music scene ng Indonesia, gumawa si Arie ng Libreng Vst plug para sa For Software records ()

Disconnected (DC),originally from Bandung Indonesia,somewhere in south-east Asia, came into existence in 1998. The original members Arie (voc/guitar), Yudha (Bass) and Decil (Drums) followed their dreams to become rock stars and began playing at their local junior high school. That dream eventually led to the formation of "DISCONNECTED" or just "DC" for short. The name was actually taken from the title of a song by an american punk band, Face to Face. There was no special reason for taking this name. It just sounded good. Like their music.In the beginning DC played covers from some of their favourite bands including, Gigantor, Kill Rays, Face to Face and Blink 182. It took the addition of two more members PJ (guitar/voc) and Dea (Synth), in 2000, before they began to experiment and write their own music. This experimentation led to their combining punk with elements of electronic and trance music to create their own unique style. With their own music in hand they began playing a wider range of venues and released their first album "Inside Out." They also had a number of singles featured on compilations released by a local, independent record company. In 2003 continued to produce they're own music and rogressively develop new material. They keep on pushing on and keep rocking every stage that they play.We're back on may 2006 with Stay low and keep those feet moving.EP released by Heaven Records.And Discopukhead had been released in late 2007 and the 1st single Demos Cratos was in the top 5 Rockintheshed.com chart. Disconnected celebrated the10th anniversary in this june 2008. As the part of a decade celebration, Arie made Free Vst plug in for Software recording ()
